Rhett Bryson has been doing magic for 75 years! His childhood interest in magic performance has developed over the years with him performing magic in a variety of venues: Stages, close-up, platform and after dinner shows, corporate events, restaurant magic and street magic. Yes, he has performed street magic in new York City – so it is accurate to say he has performed ON BROADWAY!
He was, for 12 years, the official magician for the Greenville Drive – performing close-up magic for fans as they entered the field.
Rhett is a Professor of Theatre Arts at Furman having taught there for 54 years. He specializes in family friendly comedy magic and local audiences may remember him from his First Night Greenville performances in years past.
He is a 50+ year member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and is a member of the Order of Merlin – Excalibur. He is also a member of the Society of American Magicians. He is an avid collector of classic magic props and has what likely is the world’s largest collection of automata that do a magic trick.
Magic Man Paul Dilella discovered his passion for the deceptive arts during his tour of duty with the United States Air Force, launching a distinguished magic career that spans nearly five decades.
A master of both cabaret-stage performances and sleek close-up sleight-of-hand, Paul’s signature style relies on high-caliber close-up illusions and intense audience participation.
As a past President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) The Rhett Bryson Ring #63, in Greenville and an esteemed Order of Merlin member, he has brought his baffling brand of mystery to country clubs, corporate suites, and upscale venues across the region.
